(Guitarist/On Screen) I am the fuzzy green blob playing guitar in the background of this 2007 NBC pilot (IMDB), which never aired.  My band at the time, Ezra Furman & the Harpoons was featured to give a sense of verisimilitude to this suburban Midwest story.  Ironically, it was shot in Pasadena, CA in a backyard with “Midwest” trees and we were actually from Boston.  Despite the burial of the pilot itself, our scene made it’s way to Vimeo.  We play “I Wanna Be Ignored” and “My Soul Has Escaped From My Body.” My cameo is around 0:40.  This may be the only place on the the internet where you can see baby me pre-beard.
